What Could A Black, Smooth Growth On Nipple With Pimple Head Indicate?

I have just located a little black growth on my left nipple. It is smooth and about 2 mm in width and height and located in the centre of the nipple. There seem to be a little while spot in the middle as though the tip of a pimple. I am seventy years old and have had 3 children
