What Could A Cervix Abnormality Of HPV In The PAP Smear Be?

my physician said he need to look further at my cervix because my papsmear came back abnormal for hpv. I know there are several ones but do I need to be extremely worried? im 26 years old and he always does pap test every year but I recently changed sex partners could he be the problem? he also did blood work for hiv ghonnarhea and chlymdia all that came back negative. do you think if I had any other disease would it show up in my pap test?
