What Could A Giant, Painful Lump And Severe Infection At My Inguinal Hernia Site After A Kenalog Injection Indicate?

I’ve had an inguinal hernia surgery in 2013. Just recently I was feeling some discomfort not really bad. The surgeon gave me a shot of Kenalog in the hernia and it got infected really bad and now I have a giant lump over that hernia which is extremely painful. What can that be and what should I do. I’m in a pretty rural area and really good professional healthcare it’s hard to come by. Thank you for your time.
