What Could Be Cause Of A Wide White Line On

What could be cause of a wide white line on the inside of my lower lip--left side. Several months ago, I had a stone removed from lower inside lip but it was red and blistery but did not hurt. This hurts when my tooth touches it. I am female, 71 years of age.
