What Could Be The Blister On The Bottom Of Toe?

I was working outside barefoot when I noticed an uncomfortable lump on the bottom of one toe. Upon closer examination, the 'spot' appeared to be a small patch a fur growing on my toe. I pulled the fur off with a pair of tweezers, but the spot is now very tender like a blister. Any ideas?
