What Could Be The Brown Transparent Worms Sticking To The Skin?

My daughter was swimming in the creek and noticed on her feet some brown marks, when she tried to wipe them off they were stuck. After further looking we noticed they were small thin brown slightly transparent worms that were sticking to her skin and apeered to be entering her skin. I have searched online with no luck on what they could be or what my next course of action should be. Any Ideas? Please... thanks, Mary
