What Could Black Bruises On Lips Suggest?

my daughter suddenly got a black spot (looks like a bruise) on the corner of her upper lip. her lip is not tender to touch, is not swollen... she didnt bite her lip, nor had any kind of accident...
we are worried about what it could be
any suggestions?
