What Could Brown Itchy Moles Suggest?

i have a black line going through a brown mole. I am 13 and have had this mole as long as i can remember but the line has only just appeared. The mole is raised and looks like a rice krispy and itches at times. My parents don't think there is anything wrong but it kind of hurts. Could you suggest what it could be?
