What Could Bumps On Chin In Children Suggest?

hello - i noticed bumps (maybe small pimples?) on my 8 year old son's chin....i've not noticed them before.he is very active in sports so he uses cetafil. he spent the night at a friends' house 2 nights ago and used a different soap. i just noticed the bumps today. should i wait a few days to see if his chin calms down before calling his pediatrician?
