What Could Cause "blink" Quick Loss Of Consciousness And Then

What could cause "blink" quick loss of consciousness and then "blink" quick regain with no fuzzy in or out? Loss lasted 7 seconds. Was walking and went out, fell face first on sidewalk. No recollection of tripping, falling or trying to catch myself. My first thought was why am I wet and the second why am I on the sidewalk.
