What Could Cause Menstrual Irregularity?

hi im on microgynon i do sometimes miss pills as im forgetfull i use condoms with my boyfriend but only towards the end i usally have a period for 5 days on my 7 day break this time iv had 2 days and its just brown discharge with stomache cramps what could this be
