What Could Frequent Abscesses, Post Hysterectomy Surgery Suggest?

My sister had hysterectomy almost a year back. It was keyhole surgery. It took a lot of time to heal and it opened up many times. After that she started getting multiple abscesses. She had five surgeries and still more are coming up on skin. What could be the reason?
