What Could Headache, Loss Of Concentration And Neck Pain Suggest?

After a car accident my friend is experiencing increased headaches, loss of concentration for more than 30 minutes, and severe neck pain. CT scans show no sign of concussion, and he was prescribed pain medication and muscle relaxers which are helping mildly.
