What Could Holes In Ear With Puss Formation Suggest?

Hello doctor, My mother aged 55 years has developed a small hole in her left ear, she was able to hear a bit low 8-10 days back. However now the problem has increased and she is unable to hear at all. she is using ciplox ear drops. Pus has also developed in ears. She is having cold also. Please advice. thanks
