What Could Itchy Pimples On Nipple With Change Of Areola Colour Suggest?

Hi doctor.I am 22 years old and not married.I have a small pimple like grown on my right nipple.its very small and pink in color.I am having pain in my right breast for 5 days and the areola is very itchy and swollen.there is also a change in the color of areola ;its bit lighter.I would like to know whether its a serious matter or not and what shud i do.Can application of cold cream can reduce the itching and swelling.
