What Could Itchy Stings On Feet, Hands And Joints Suggest?

For the last 4 days my hands, feet and ankles begin to sting and itch.Sometimes this itch produces deep pin prick welts and then other times there are none. The itch feels like tiny paper cuts around my joints, palms of hands and soles of feet. The itch comes on suddenly at any time of the day while I am resting or moving about.
