What Could Mild Bleeding During Intercourse Suggest?

Hi We are trying to conceive. I had an LH surge on Tuesday, and have had intercourse that day and every day since. Last night I experienced light bleeding during intercourse (which is unusual and I don't usually experience spotting at ovulation). What is a likely explanation for this. Thank you.
