What Could Minimal Fluids In Pouch Of Douglas Suggest?

Hi, I'm currently 5weeks and 4 days pregnant.I had an US done yesterday by a nurse sonographer who says there is a small cystic area in the endometrium cavity/gestational sac. It seems like she is not sure about what she saw is this correct?
In the pouch of douglas she wrote: "largest pool 21mmx23mm minimal fluid noted.
What does this means?
She said I may have an ectopic pregnancy as I have been spotting every day.
Can anyone shed some light please?
