What Could Pain In Right Side Of Neck With Pulsing Sound In Right Ear Indicate?

For the last week and a half i have had bad pain in my right side of my neck i thought i just slept wrong but now a week and a half later it still hurts and i have a pulsing sound in my right ear with it that wont stop or go away its so annoying the sound has been there for about 3days.
