What Could Patches On Tonsil Sore Throat Suggest?

I have a sore throat and looked it up on google. it said, that if you have cold symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, stuffed nose etc, you don't have the strep version. I have all of the cold symptoms and I don't have a fever, but I do have white dranal patches on my tonsils. what do you think?
