What Could Persistent Cough With Pain In Upper Abdomen Indicate?

I and my wife visited back hoInfiadia for 2 weeks, where,we caught cold, fever and cough.We visited a doctor who gave us antiibiotics, but were not very helpful.My fever got to normal but my wife s continued to be on higher side even after returning back with cough.Here she was prescribed Avelox 400mg once a day for 10 days.A number of tests have been performed to her.Now she is better, no fever, but has been reffered to infectious diseases specialist and lungs specialist. I have been better, no fever no constant cough.But since last 2 days, I am having acute pain in my upper right abdomen, specially while coughing?Please advice.
