What Could Pimple Like Red Spots On Nose Suggest?

Hello, I am 59 yrs old and have started getting tiny red spots on my nose. when they first come they are the size of a sewing pin head but then they rise like a pimple and are very red (wart nose the family have called me, which I find embarrassing) and then as they decline they are like bright red pin spots. They are not sore to touch and last about 5 to 6 days. Have only had them around and across the tip of my nose.
