What Could Rashes On Finger With Swelling Suggest?

Hi, i first noticed a rash on my finger and thought i'd been stung just over a week ago. I was wearing gloves when i first felt the stinging sensation..after a few days my finger swelled up and theres been a noticeable red rash too, it also aches..particularly around the knuckle joint when i flex it.. Now i have just noticed the same symptoms on my other hand on one finger only too. It also aches and has rash on outside edge of finger..any ideas?
