What Could Recurring Dull Pain On Right Side Of Head Near The Ear Indicate?

I ve been having this sudden dull pain on right side of head right above the ear. It lasts for seconds then comes back. Like a pinched nerve. This is happening maybe 3x a day and started about 4 days ago. What can this be? I am under alot of stress lately.
