What Could Recurring Nose Bleeds Suggest?

one day i started getting nose bleeds so i went and got it checked and found it was a broken blood vessel well thats wat the doctor said so he did somethign to it and put some clear gause looking stuff up my nose and told me to leave it in there for 24hrs so i did then take it out so i took it out and everything was fine until to weeks later it started bleeding again and i dont know why
