What Could Recurring Splinter Hemorrhages On Nails Indicate?

Hello there, I have a question in regards of splinter hemorrhages. I am 22 years. Over the past few months, I ve noticed these tiny black splinter hemorrhages on most of my nails like one tiny one on each nail. My health is good as far as I m concerned. I live in NY, so it gets really cold here, so I m not sure if it has to do with the cold weather or it could be something more serious. Usually they dissappear but come back later on most nails at the same time. I also work at cleaners and do lift hangers, and use my hands alot. I d like to think that I m hitting my nails without realizing it but I ve worked here for 4 years now and these splinters had never shown up till now. I have no other symptoms other than just normal tiredness from school and work. I m scared it could be a sign of lupus. Please tell me what other symptoms I should be looking for or if i should just not worry about them. Thank you.
