What Could Red Hard Bumps/pimples On Buttocks Suggest?

Please type your query here... my 4 year old has these little red pimples on her butt, her doctor said it was a yeast infection and prescribed a cream but its not going away. Today my daughter woke up with a hard bump right next to her vagina and she says it hurts, and she also tells me the bumps on her butt are really itchy. I am going to the doctor on Thursday but this is not letting me sleep what can she have? Please help..
