What Could Severe Pain In Abdomen With Vomiting Indicate?

My two daughters have had severe abdominal pain for the past one week and a half. One has also been vomiting non stop until now, no fever no diarrhea, doc thinks its Castro, is it too much to request a full blood count and x-ray for abdomen to locate cause
