What Could Skin Tag Between Anus And Vagina Be?

between my anus and vagina i had what i would describe as a skin tag. it was about 1/4in. long with a hard tip at the end. i had my husband look at it, and he pulled it off. ouch! it would bleed very mildly when i wiped and it was tender then. can you give me some insight as to what that could be? also what is the medical term for that area? thank you.
