What Could Soft, Painful To Touch, Swollen Bump On Left Labia Be?

i have a small pea size bump on my left labia... near the top. it is slightly soft but panful to the touch and it is swollen. it doesnt look like a herpes bump(from the research i did) because its very raised(as if ive got a pea under the skin and half is showing) but im not too sure what it is. about 9 months ago i recovered from an abscess but it was slightly farther down... help? i dont know what to do.
