What Could Sores On Skin On The Neck After Having A Haircut Mean?

I'm a healthy 31 year old female, 165cm tall and about 60kgs. I never suffer from skin irritations, however about six weeks ago I went to the hair dresser and she cut my hair quite short around the nape of my neck, and chose to use a set of guys clippers to finish the style off. I now have about three sores on my skin. It started off as one, and then became two and now three. All in a diagonal line about 1cm apart from each other. As you can imagine, I am quite concerned, but have been trying to stop touching them so they will heal up. What could it be?
