What Could Stabbing Pain In Ovaries Suggest?

hi i am a 48yo female n 4 d past yr or so have been getting stabbing pain on right side ovary as well as a feeling of suppressed wind which has sometimes woken me up from sleep during menstrual cycle. it can last a couple hrs. can u tel me y i have had ultrasound of both ovaries and no abnormalities found.
