What Could Stringy Spotting After Being Off From Depo Indicate?

I've been spotting recently after coming off the depo it stopped a week ago. as I want to become pregnant I took an ovulation test that turned out positive for several days? I'm now spotting again but it stringy and red in colour not a lot of it but when I went in the bath some swished out and it was stringy? What could it be? And how can I be ovulating still??
