What Could Swollen Labia With Discomfort Indicate?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I noticed a hard swollen area in what appears to be my labia minor yesterday evening. I just finished my period and used tampons. I have never had this before. I don't have a fever or discharge. There is some discomfort but nothing unbearable. Any ideas?
