What Could Symptoms Of Cold With Greenish Brown Snot Indicate?

( have had cold like symtoms for the last couple of days nothing over the could has any affect on it. I am spitting up greenish brown snot and coughing up about the same only thicker. My temp is low grade, no chills or anything, but I don't have a thermometer to tell how high it has gone.
