What Could The Shadow On The Kidney X-ray Indicate?

Hello-My daughter s MD found a shadow on her kidney on an xray..she has an u/sound monday. What are the possible causes of the shadow? She has already had kidney stones (which came about 3 weeks after being on a drug for ADHD-in my opinion NOT a coincidence.) thank you:)
