What Could The Swelling On Buttocks Be?

i have a swollen area on my left buttock cheek, it is red/dark purple, tender and last night it appeared to have "popped" as i woke up to find it was bleeding, i have used tissue as a temporary cover and have seen that blood is leaking as well as slight puss. please help
