What Could Throat Pain With Facial Tightness Suggest?

i have had pain on the outside of my throat for 3 weeks it it painful to the touch if i'm actually able to locate it. it's also painful if i swallow hard or move my head down and open my mouth. moderate alchohol and smokeless tobacco user, not excessive though, but for 20 yrs. pain radiates to right ear and back of neck sometimes, just a quick shooting pain. also a little facial tightness or numbness associated with it. can you help diagnose me?
