What Diet Should Be Followed Post NG Tube?

I had my hsyterectomy to remove a fibroid mass on ovary. All went well. 2 weeks to the day later, I had violent vomiting and discovered I had a bowel obstruction. I had to have an NG tube inserted for 48 hours and have just returned home today. I m most interested in links on this site about diets post NG tube and any dietary recommendations you may have. Also, how likely is it to happen again? Thank you!
