What Do Anterior Labrum Tear, Narrowed Acromiohumeral Space, And Possible Interval Rotator Cuff Tear In My Left Shoulder In An MRI Mean?

Need Suggestion on MRI Report of Left Shoulder: FINDINGS: There are mild degenerative changes at the left acromioclavicular joint without evidence for impingement at that level. The coracoacromial ligament attaches along the undersurface of the anterior acromion more posteriorly than typically seen narrowing the acromiohumeral distance to 4.4 mm. In the neutral position, the supraspinatus muscle-tendon junction abuts the undersurface of the anterior acromion, suspicious for a source of impingement. Marrow signal intensities are preserved at the left humeral head and neck without evidence for avascular necrosis or occult fracture. 3940.073.668 :xaF 0013.662.804 :enohP 45059 AC aralC atnaS 633 etS dvlB ttocS 5733 OD ,hkiraP teehseeN :noitamrofnI naicisyhP gnirrefeR 2202/30/10 :etaD maxE 0000 :NRM thgisnI/IDC 5998.473.804 :xaF 7988.473.804 :enohP 23059 AC sotaG soL daoR dralloP 008 101B etiuS IRM sotaG soL ygoloidaR SUYAR 8244.458.804 :enohP elaM :xeS 5791/31/60 :B.O.D artapahaM rawsebmaJ :tneitaP tropeRlanigirO There is no significant glenohumeral joint effusion. There is no evidence for tear at the superior or posterior labrum but there is extensive tearing within the anterior labrum throughout its vertical extent. No associated stripping of the anterior joint capsule is seen. There is edema between the fascicles of the distal supraspinatus tendon suspicious for ongoing tendinitis. The normal rotator cuff interval between the supraspinatus and subscapularis tendons is wider than typically seen suspicious for a normal interval rotator cuff tear. No abnormalities are identified at the level of the subscapularis tendon. IMPRESSION: 1. The acromiohumeral distance has been narrowed to 4.4 mm and the supraspinatus muscle-tendon junction abuts the undersurface of the anterior acromion in the neutral position suspicious for impingement. 2. There is extensive tearing of the anterior labrum throughout its vertical span. There is no evidence for tear at the superior posterior labrum. 3. The normal rotator cuff interval is wider than typically seen suspicious for a normal interval rotator cuff tear.
