What Do Black Patches On Body Indicate?

I see black spots Like patches on my body mostly leg and sometimes arm. It appears and disappears to another spot after a few days and it s a bit painful when I touch it. Like blood clot or something but I can t tell what it is. But it happens to my mom and sister too
