What Do Contractions And Bleeding Along With Tightness In Stomach Indicate?

Hi I went to the doctor today cause I had some bleeding and contractions. They gave me an Iv which stopped the contractions and they sent me home. For a couple hours now I ve been feeling tightening in my stomach and my heart felt like it was beating harder. Happens every few minutes. What could it be? Does it sound bad?
