What Do Crankiness, Crying And Vomiting In An Infant Suggest?

Hi, Thanks, and I am here with my 9 week old Granddaughter in Atlanta and she has started acting very cranky, unconsolable, and either wants to just nurse and then goes right back to sleep; cries when she awakes, which is unusual, and also she did vomit a lot, just once late evening yesterday, then turned very very pale, cried a lot, nursed again then settled down and slept about 7 hours finally, and it seems the cycle is beginning again this afternoon. Should we take her to the Pediatrician.....wondering if this could be a growth spurt? Thanks, Suzanne
