What Do Dent Like Feeling On Left Scalp And Itchy Scalp Suggest?

i started losing hair when i turned 55, now i m 72, and just noticed a dent like feeling on the part side of my scalp on the left side of my head, and it goes down behind my left ear. my scalp is itchy more so than when i was younger when it would get itchy like this when i needed to wash it. i am a female, and i hope you can help me resolve this dilemma.
