What Do Elevated Levels Of Eosinophil Indicate?

My eosinophils seem to be in the high side in my last blood test. I have been taking antibiotics for almost a year now , do to a bone marrow infection in my tibia after titanium screws were inserted to hold things together. Today s test was higher than previous in eosinophils count. The infection finally seems to be under control. So what this high count of eos could mean ? Thank you.
