What Do Itchy Red Bumps On Fingers Indicate?

I get ichy small red bumps looks like bites, but then skin turns callus and then skin can peel off my fingers or thumb what do you think it might be Dr. Rynne? Could it be stress? Thank You, Pamela Currier
