What Do Knots Behind Ears, Swollen Face And Small Eyes Suggest?

Wednesday and Thursday last week (1/14/15, 1/15/15) I noticed 3 large and small knots on the bony areas behind both ears. This was accompanied by severe swelling of the face, particularly around the eyes and upper cheeks below the eyes. Five or six days later, the swelling continues to be present in the morning when I awaken. My face is swollen and eyes are small slits causing me to look monstrous-like throughout the morning, and mostly subsiding in the mid-afternoon hours. Relative information: I was spending the entire week at my daughters providing post-surgical assistance to her and her family, was sleep deprived, very tired, sleeping on various couches as my daughter shifted throughout the house seeking comfortable arrangements. One of my PCP's PA's examined me when I returned home this past Friday and prescribed a Claretin substitute and a prescription drug Amox TR-K CLV 875, 125MG 2X per day for 7 days.They have a new Golden Retriever. I have never had any allergies of any kind to my knowledge, and have previously owned a Boxer and Pugs simultaneously with no known ill effects I welcome your comments or thoughts on the matter. I have an untra-sound scheduled for later this afternoon to better define two hernias recently diagnosed. I would appreciate your thoughts and comments, please. Thank you! Fred Jones
