What Do Lumps Above Waist Line Indicate?

Hi Doctor, I have some lumps above my waist line on both sides, left and right. They are not visible but i can feel them by touching them. They dont pain usually, but when i touch them and press them a little, then they pain, not much though. I got the ultrasound done. They said they are lipomas below the upper layer of skin. But i dont know what to do. I dont know if these are harmfull. What should i do ?
