What Do Moles On Body Indicate?

My family has a history of being covered in large numbers of moles. In that last few months I've had no less than 30 new spots appear on my skin, Particularly on my arms and legs beyong the elbows and knees. Most of them are non-round, several are raised and very dark, and some are small pinpricks of a blood red color. I dont have medical insurance and I'm to poor to pay for a doctors visit myself, but I'm starting to get the very real sense that I need to get these things examined soon. I'm 27 years old, but I understand that cancer doesn't respect age. Any advice?
