What Do Pain And Burning Sensation On The Back Indicate?

Hello, I am a 54 yr old female. For approximately 3 weeks I have been having a pinching, burning, mild pain feeling on my back. This is on the left side around the rib area only. Before I spend money on another co-pay I wanted some idea of what it could be. I don’t have any other symptoms outside of what I listed.
